Critique of Organizational Behavior by Mr. John W. Newstrom

I like the book because it is complete and easy to understand. It gives a lot of insights on how one's behavior is manifested. The structured presentations are accompanied by real life experiences. It is an easy reference guide even for a novice in organizational set-up. The only part I would like to suggest is that the authors should show an answer chapter for the quentions given in the end of the chapters especially in the case studies. I find it very interesting to know how the authors would solve the organizational problems.

As good as can be expected from a textbook on a dry subject

Textbooks are pretty universally horrible, but the authors/editors manage to do a solid job with this one. To be blunt, this is a book on a subject I don't enjoy for a class I'm required to take - that reading the book isn't an utter chore is a compliment. It's easy to access the information, well-organized, well-written, and concise. That's about all that can be asked of a textbook.

I thought this book was very interesting because it describes everything that goes on in a business firm with all of the people involved. I give this textbook 5 stars because it is descriptive, detailed and informative.
