Missing features on iPad

NOTE: The problems listed below are specific to the iPad, and it is my understanding that they do not exist in the iBooks version. I have upgraded my rating to reflect the fact that the Kindle software -- not Hornady -- is to blame for these shortcomings.
I have the printed version of this book as well so I knew, generally, what to expect. Newcomers should be aware that only Hornady bullets are listed, although this is neither surprising nor particularly detrimental.
I was disappointed to find that the user is not given the ability to search, which would be a tremendous asset in a reference volume such as this. The consolation for this loss is that a caliber's data can be found by clicking on its name in the Table of Contents. This utility, however, is lessened by the fact that each trip to the Contents requires you to first digitally thumb past four unrelated pages before reaching the list of calibers.
Substantially more disappointing is the inability to create bookmarks. I should be able to bookmark the calibers that I load, so I'm not constantly having to click here and swipe there in order to once again find frequently accessed data.

Not for tablet use

Hornady's engineering (and Emery's) superb!! However, the Kindle version is over-lawyered to the point where the recommended accessory is eye surgery, specatcles, and a magnifying glass. Unreadable on my HP Slate 7 table. They need to get out of the windows 95 era.
I will have to buy the print version for actual use.

Formatting Problems

This is a good book but the Kindle version has some serious formatting issues in certain areas of the book. Some charges will not show up in B & W, and in a couple of areas the pages are out sized. PG 860 for example
